1. The Italian Vanity Fair.

THIS is what the cover should have been for the US version.

Not some silly Boy George looking guy with an alligator

Robert is so fucking beautiful.

It's so hard to mess it up.

Near impossible.

But honestly...

They did a pretty good job of it.

2. I was going through my emails

(I know, I know... I'm a glutton for punishment.)

And I just want to comment on the AT boards.

Again.

Now.

I know there are some sane and rational people 

who post over there regularly.

(The few... the proud.)

But what I find really amusing

is that certain factions of this fandom 

use the AT comments as some sort of barometer

into what the true fan is thinking.

Really?

They take all these frenzied comments by anonymous posters

and then label them 'shippers' and 'sheep'

And all the while its probably the same one or two

delusional posters who post the same sorry shit day after day.

In fact...

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Hatestens are the ones

planting these ludicrous comments in the first place...

And then trying to pin the lunacy on 'shippers'.

"Look at how the sheep are losing their minds!"

(insert comments that they probably posted)

Personally...

I didn't see anyone getting upset over anything.

Now, granted...

I make a point of not following the lunatic fringe

that exists on both sides of this fandom...

But no.

No one was panicking over a magazine interview.

In fact...

From where I sit... its all smooth sailing ahead.

Hatsten might want to buckle up

3. Water For Elephants is killing me.

Slowly.

I haven't looked forward to a movie this much since...

Twilight.

Well... Twilight was my peak in terms of these movies so far.

And by 'these' movies...

I mean ALL Robert and Kristen movies.

I don't think anything will live up to the Twilight hype

I was totally OBSESSED with both Robert/Edward

and that damn movie.

I can't even tell you how many times I watched that bitch.

I enjoy it.

I guess I do have a thing for good looking vampires.

I know a lot has been said about what a copy VD is of Twilight.

And oh yes... it is.

But while there are so many similarities...

For a cable TV show... it has more intimacy than Twilight ever did.

And hey... I get the whole longing for but never getting theme

of the Twilight series.

Doesn't mean I have to like it.

It was one of the few enjoyable moments of the evening.

That being said...

GORGEOUS!

So Miss Stewart was on Leno last night.

And she was good.

And is it just me...

but she can rock anything she wears...

It's not just me.

I know a lot of you are totally into her clothes/shoes

And the shoes?

I'm not really a fashion kinda girl...

But even I can appreciate those shoes.
