Rob and Kristen-- Handholding 101

Yes. It's Rob and Kristen holding hands. Get over it.

Once again... its been a few days since I've posted last.

What's wrong with me?

I used to blog every single day...

And lately

Not so much.

See the picture above?

I'm sure you have ALL seen it by now.

Someone was sitting behind Rob/Kris on a plane

(Almost a year ago, mind you)

And started taking pictures of them.

Creepy?

A bit.

But it was on a plane...

with a lot of people around

so its not like they weren't aware they were being watched.

I'm sure they always feel like that.

Can you imagine?

Your every move...

even in innocuous places as in your seat on an airplane...

Someone is watching you...

recording you...

Yeah.

That's all kinds of creepy.

But yet... I'm posting the pic.

But while that may be a bit hypocritical

(and I can admit that it is)

I'm actually posting it to prove a point.

The picture was taken last August.

And the story that went along with the pics

was rather sweet and cuddly.

Showing Rob and Kristen... being Rob and Kristen.

And it was creating this immense uproar in the fandom.

It's a picture of Rob and Kris holding hands.

So?

It's not like its the first time we have seen this from them.

In fact...

They seem to be a hand holding kinda couple.

It's kinda their thing... you know?

The hand-hold seen around the world!

This is still the most famous handhold of them all.

And it is still one of the pictures of them

that makes me smile BIG

Like really HUGE kinda BIG.

Not only because it was one of the first public appearances

of the Rob/Kris handhold...

But because Rob looks so happy

and Kris looks so... content.

OK, more of an arm/face hold... but same general feeling.

This is probably even better than a handhold...

Rob tenderly touching Kristen's face...

Her huge smile...

and holding his arm

So it counts.

Face/Arm hold.

The laughing thigh/wrist hold.

Yes. OK.

I LOVE this picture too.

You may have figured that out since I tend to post it quite a lot.

I just love the laughing.

I have a feeling that Rob and Kristen laugh a lot when they are together.

And shes so familiar with her hand on his leg...

Like...

It ALWAYS just fucking goes there...

You know?

And Rob doesn't seem to mind one bit...

No Sir Ree Bob

Not one bit.

He looks pretty happy about that hand ...

HER hand on his leg.

Walking. Hand-holding. OFF set.

Yes.

Hand-holding is their thing.

It's their way of being connected when they are in public.

It's obvious by now that neither Rob or Kristen

are the type to hang all over each other 

and put on a show for public entertainment...

But something as simple

as sweet

as holding hands

seems to work for them.

That and turning up together all the damn time.

Heh.

They go together like... Rob and Kristen.

Holding hands is kinda intimate...

Your fingers interlaced with someone else's fingers...

Your palms clasped together

What does it mean?

Is it a way to express Love?

Emotional support?

Physical intimacy?

Sure holding hand doesn't have to be intimate...

but if two people are seen doing it...

again and again

Over the course of 2 1/2 years?

I'm guessing its meaningful.

So Sweet.

Final thoughts.

1. Kristen just spend the better part of a week

with Robert in Toronto.

She was only papped ONCE.

I realize that some people have to cling

to their fucked up claim of PR

to try and soften the painful reality and rationalize

WHY OH WHY

Rob and Kristen keep showing up together

even when they aren't working.

Even when they could be hanging out with 

whoever they wanted to...

And yet

Continue to be with each other.

Again.

How's that working for you?

I've been smiling all week long.

Big time.

Rob and Kristen were able to spend some time together.

(Again... heh)

And hopefully in a couple of weeks...

Both Rob and Kris will be back in London.

Together.

Together.

It's the one word that always seems to go

with Robert and Kristen.
