Paula Abdul Julie is born on 19 June 1962 is an American pop singer, record producer, dancer, choreographer, actress and TV personality.

Her father  Syrian Jew was born in Aleppo, Syria, raised in Brazil  and later emigrated to the U.S  states. Abdul's mother, also Jewish, is originally from Minnedosa, Manitoba, with origins from Russia and Ukraine.

Abdul was discovered by The Jacksons, after a few band members had seen her while he participated in a Los Angeles Lakers game.  She was signed to do the choreography for the video for the single "torture".

Abdul choreographed videos for several singers in the 1980s, including many videos for Janet Jackson during her Control era.

In 1987 Abdul used her savings to make a song demo.  Although her voice was relatively untrained, her exceptional dancing proved marketable to the visually oriented, MTV driven pop music industry.

Chelsi Kay Hightower was born July 21, 1989 is an Emmy nominated Latin ballroom dancer born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and raised in Orem, Utah. She graduated from Timpanogos High School and then attended Utah Valley University. She finished the season eight cast of Dancing with the Stars professional dancer and was a partner with Ty Murray, nine-time World Champion Rodeo Cowboy.

Her partner for the season nine was professional snowboarder Louie Vito. She was a collaboration with a Bachelor Jake Pavelka.They were voted out in the fifth week of competition and finished seventh in space. Chelsi received an Emmy nomination for "Paso Doble / Malaguena "dance, which she and Derek Hough performed and co-choreographed for dwts.
